a carpool and bike buddy matching program.

Welcome to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's RIDESHARE program that matches people together for carpooling and bike buddies. Perhaps you came to this site after seeing the Web address on the freeway, heard an ad on the radio, or followed a friend's suggestion that sharing your commute might be fun and save you expenses. However you got here, you'll be "Feelin' Better Already" just for investigating your commuting options.

If you are an employer, be sure to check out the benefits you can receive as a commuting-options employer.

As a commuter you can begin by registering or exploring the program information, carpool/bike buddy tips, and the commuter calculator pages. On the commuter calculator page you can calculate how much commuting can cost you and the environment.

Ready to find a match? You can...

• Ridematch yourself - Carpool and bike buddy registration
  Register your commuting information. It's easy to use and you have nothing to lose by trying. You will find your matches as well as contact information so you can begin saving on your commute as soon as possible. All registrations are reviewed by the program manager to see that you receive optimum matches.
  • Already registered? Log in and update your profile, run new match lists and retrieve a forgotten password.
    
    
• E-mail your application
  If you would like the RIDESHARE Program Manager to do a match report for you, complete the online application and a match report will be mailed to you within a few days. All information is transferred through the internet via a protected and encrypted Secure Socket Link (SSL).
  
  
• Mail in your application
  Download the RIDESHARE application . Either fax the completed application to (262) 521-4425 or mail it to:

• Call for an application
  Call 1-800-455-POOL, leave your contact information, and an application will be mailed to you.
